Exciting News! Dathliad Cymru-Affrica Festival Announcement!

We are so excited to announce that we have been awarded funding from the Arts Council of Wales’ Create fund to realise our vision of a multi-venue pan-African arts festival.  This Afro-Welsh celebration of culture and sound will take place in June 2023.

Dathliad Cymru-Affrica (meaning “Celebration of Wales-Africa” in Welsh) will happen on 1st-3rd June at Neuadd Ogwen in Bethesda, North Wales and on 10th – 11th June at Wales Millennium Centre, Cardiff.  We have some incredible acts already confirmed, and we will be announcing these soon along with ticket links. Many thanks to the Arts Council of Wales plus our partners Neuadd Ogwen, Butetown Arts and Culture Association (BACA), the Wales Millennium Centre, and Rahim El Habachi for working with us to make this happen.

Join us for this exciting celebration of diversity and unity in the heart of Wales. Follow us on social media and see our festival page for updates and announcements, including information on the line-up and ticket sales.
