Meet Our New Team Members!

Introducing Our Latest Team Members – Business Development Manager and Social Media Officer!

We are thrilled to announce the newest additions to our team, Paul Fordham and Emily Agbaso! Paul joins us as our Business Development Manager, bringing 25 years of experience in the music industry. Emily steps in as our Social Media Officer, ready to infuse our online presence with engaging content, promote our work, and reach new audiences.

Paul Fordham has been involved in the presentation of music for 25 years with experience touching almost every aspect of getting music out there. From beginnings DJing in clubs and community radio in the 90s Paul moved on to venue programming and touring. His specialism in non-western music led to him setting up touring consortia and securing programming contracts with major concert halls, and festivals as well as management in music development and theatre. In the 2000s he established his own music development agency to explore lesser-known music such as that from Cape Verde and Somalia, bringing artists to the UK and venues as diverse as village halls and the Royal Festival Hall. He was a founding director of the Bristol Music Trust and is proud to be one of the board members who took the decision to rename the Colston Hall, now known as the Bristol Beacon.

Emily Agbaso‘s journey led her to Wales at 16, where she discovered a vibrant community and a place to call home. Over the years, what initially felt like a lonely place, not knowing anyone, blossomed into connections with inspiring people and causes, igniting her love for Wales. With a recent graduation from a Masters in International Tourism and Hospitality Management coupled with a degree in International Business Marketing, Emily is driven by her passion for creating engaging content and promoting unforgettable experiences. Emily is thrilled to help spread the word about The Successors of the Mandingue’s Afro Welsh fusion of interactive music experiences, performances, collaboration projects, and workshops to people in Wales and worldwide.
