Guinean Dance Master Salif Camara takes you on uplifting journey into traditional West African dance and rhythms. Salif is a talented dancer and dance teacher, now based in the UK. He has been training in dance since the age of 12 and has danced with several acclaimed ballet troupes in Guinea, with whom he has toured around West Africa. He has extensive experience of teaching European students, both in Africa and in the UK. During lockdown Salif taught regular African dance classes via Zoom, building a loyal following of students around the UK. With The Successors of the Mandingue All Stars he has performed and provided workshops for a range of events including Green Man festival, Global Grooves, Cardiff Food Festival and Ara Deg.
