Hailing from the Gambia, Suntou’s music combines the rich, traditional sound of his West-African Mandinka culture with Afro funk and soul, he plays the 22 string kora (harp-lute), he will be joined by special guest singer Binta Susso.
2.40-3.00pm Ayoub & Ffion
Experience the mesmerizing Moroccan/Welsh fusion song ‘Achkid Awa’. Ffion and Ayoub’s unique collaboration promotes inclusivity and unity.
3.40-4.40pm Successors Collective
An exciting new big band concept bringing an Afro-Welsh jazz funk sound with hip hop vibes.
5.20-6.20pm Asya Satti feat. Yaz Fentazi
This Sudanese/Algerian collaboration will be delivering a tapestry of global sounds including Sudanese roots music, North African fusion and RnB.
7.00-8.30pm Zimbabwe’s Mokoomba
They are described as Afrofusion at its best – driving rhythms, electrifying beats, and harmonies that are unmatched.
